“Freedom isn’t free” is a phrase we’ve all heard. We use it to point out that freedom comes at a cost. That cost might mean resources in terms of money and time, but that cost also can mean life. Many people have paid that cost to keep our idea of freedom intact.
When the Founding Fathers of America were working to establish the ideals that our country was founded on, freedom was key. And it still is. Freedom to live the lives we want to live, freedom to work and build our businesses in a way that matches our own ideals. It takes many forms, but it’s still a simple idea: freedom.
On this 4th of July holiday, we take a moment to remember how fortunate we are to have so many freedoms and the opportunities to pursue our dreams. Happy 4th of July from St. Croix Collections!
